Homeschool Coopertive

Learning AT fs®

Our homeschool drop off program blends real academics — including science, history, literature, vocabulary development, reading from real books, and handwritten reading and writing practice — with old-fashioned hand skills such as sewing, embroidery, leatherwork, woodworking, and culinary arts, all within the natural surroundings of our private, spray-free flower farm. Learning is active, meaningful, and grounded in tangible experience.

Children learn in small, carefully guided groups where they build confidence, cooperation, and mastery through real work. Daily outdoor time, seasonal rhythms, and beautiful materials support focus, emotional growth, and joyful engagement.

Our approach nurtures the whole child — mind, body, and inner life — through narrative learning, thoughtful discussion, creative expression, and practical skills. Children experience education through real relationships, shared work, and hands-on discovery in an intentionally unplugged, in-person learning environment.

Benefits of HOMESCHOOLING & Cooperative Learning

The National Home Education Research Institute (NHERI) reports that home-educated students typically score 15–25 percentile points above the public–school average on standardized achievement tests (public school average ~50th percentile).

Additionally, NHERI’s socialization fact sheet shows that homeschooled students perform above average on measures of social, emotional, and psychological development, including peer interaction, self-concept, leadership skills, and self-esteem.

A systematic review of peer-reviewed studies (Ray, 2017) found that in 11 of 14 studies on academic achievement, homeschool students performed significantly better than institutional school students.

Harvard-linked research also provides insight into adult trajectorie found Homeschoolers were found to be more engaged in volunteer work, more forgiving, and more civically active in adulthood.
